I see you Shay-nee. I have a friend with a similar problem. Her name is only four letters, and people refuse to get it right. She says (and I agree) that it makes no sense that four letters trip up the same people who can both spell and pronounce Ben Roethlisberger's name without batting an eye. People can't pronounce my name if they see it, and can't spell it if they hear it.
